Once you’ve successfully completed a UU ministerial internship (per Ministerial Credentialing Office records), you are immediately eligible for employer contributions from any congregation/organization that participates in the UUA Retirement Plan – regardless of your hours or length of service.

· You do not need to be fellowshipped or ordained.

· You do not need to work 12 months or put in 1,000 hours first.

· You don’t even need to be serving in a ministerial position.

Please make sure that you are receiving the employer contributions that you have earned by virtue of your formation process!

For general questions, contact Jan Gartner (jgartner@uua.org), UUA Compensation and Staffing Practices Manager. If you believe that you have not been receiving contributions to which you are entitled, Linda Rose (lrose@uua.org), Retirement Plan Director, can help you set things right.
