Thanks to a generous gift from the Anne Warren Smith Trust (Rev. Amy Beltaine, TTE), the UUMA established a fund to provide financial assistance to Unitarian Universalist religious professionals who wish to access spiritual direction. In the last year we have been able to distribute $3200 dollars to 18 people through the fund. In accord with the fund guidelines, participants have used the financial assistance for accessing spiritual accompaniment with an accredited spiritual director who works in compliance with the professional code of ethics set forth by Spiritual Directors International or another equivalent body. As of this time, we have disbursed all the resources in the fund.

We deeply believe in the value of spiritual direction throughout a life in ministry and would like to ensure that more people have access to financial assistance so that finances are not a barrier to this type of support. Can you make a gift to help replenish the fund? Contributions of any size are most welcome. To make a gift in support of the sustenance of our colleagues, please click here.
