Once you’ve successfully completed a UU ministerial internship (per Ministerial Credentialing Office records), you are immediately eligible for employer contributions from any congregation/organization that participates in the UUA Retirement Plan – regardless of your hours or length of service.

· You do not need to be fellowshipped or ordained.

· You do not need to work 12 months or put in 1,000 hours first.

· You don’t even need to be serving in a ministerial position.

Please make sure that you are receiving the employer contributions that you have earned by virtue of your formation process!

For general questions, contact Jan Gartner (, UUA Compensation and Staffing Practices Manager. If you believe that you have not been receiving contributions to which you are entitled, Linda Rose (, Retirement Plan Director, can help you set things right.
