Religious Professionals and Seminarian Journey

for Immigration Justice

October 31-November 5, 2016

Massive human migration is underway around the world, driven by war, climate change and poverty. Destination countries are responding not with humanitarian aid and solutions to the root causes, but with border walls and deportations.

On the US/Mexico border, the violence and misery driving human migration have never been more evident, especially among the most vulnerable: women and children. If they survive the grueling journey and the perils of the desert crossing, they are met with detention even with babies or toddlers and then deportation back to the violence they tried to flee.

This crisis cries out for a humanitarian response. Instead, we are surrounded by an escalating vocabulary fear, hatred and exclusion.

The voices of religious leaders must be heard!

We must proclaim the radical inclusion of our faith, and call our nation back to its ideals.

Join us for a special Border Witness Program

for ministers, religious educators and seminarians.
