An Appreciation from the Living Legacy Project

On behalf of the entire Selma Conference Planning Team, I want to thank Linda Olson Peebles, Don Southworth, and the entire UUMA Board for your support of and participation in the Marching in the Arc of Justice Conference.   ... After this event it seems clear that when Unitarian Universalist ministers work hand-in-hand, arm-in-arm with lay people and with people of other faith traditions great things can be accomplished.  That's what it took 50 years ago and in many other times and contexts in which we dealt with social issues.

I appreciate the leadership that the UUMA Board and staff provide in supporting an active, engaged Unitarian Universalist ministry -- a ministry that includes community ministers like James Reeb, parish ministers, and retirees.  Together we can create fresh history to challenge and support future generations.
