Hannah grew up in Oakland, CA as the youngest daughter of Rob and Janne Eller-Isaacs (co-ministers of First Unitarian Church of Oakland and then Unity Church - Unitarian in St. Paul, MN). One of her earliest memories is sitting at Starr King School for the Ministry trying to steal candy from the kitchen.

During junior high and into high school Hannah got involved in district YRUU (Young Religious Unitarian Universalists) and fairly quickly, continental YRUU. Her involvement in the leadership of our faith was foundational in her life.

In college at the University of Minnesota Hannah studied Religious Studies with a focus on Jewish Studies and Holocaust Studies. After college Hannah worked as a Mental Health Counselor, served with AmeriCorps for two years before starting to work for the Church of the Larger Fellowship. As a preacher's kid Hannah has always had a deep commitment to supporting ministers.
