If you are a MFN participant who is interning this year and identify as POCI, disabled, trans and/or non-binary, we invite you to register to attend the retreat via zoom, along with your supervisor.
This no-cost opportunity is made possible with funding from the Panel on Theological Education and the St. Lawrence Foundation
Zoom sessions will be scheduled for:
Monday, Nov 11th: 1:00pm - 6:00pm CST and 7:00pm - 9:00pm CST
Wednesday, Nov 13th: 8:30am to 12:30pm CST and 1:30 to 3pm CST
Programming for interns will focus on:
● relationship building
● spiritual practice
● discernment and formation support
● navigating dynamics of systemic oppression in your internship
● building capacity for resilience and strengthening networks of support
Programming for internship supervisors will focus on:
● supervision across difference
● noticing and understanding the impact that systemic oppression may have upon the intern
and the internship and developing capacity for support and response
● planning to bring the learning back home, especially to internship committees
