Dear colleagues,

Many of you have been following the egregious attack on healthcare in congress.  Faith leaders from across the country, including many Unitarian Universalists, have been coming into D.C. in order to bear witness that healthcare is a human right.

From conversations with coalition partners, we are hearing that a final vote is likely tomorrow evening or early Friday.  Repairers of the Breach with Faith in Public Life are calling on faith leaders to come for a final push tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.  To be clear, we do not intend to engage in civil disobedience.  We are asking faith leaders to meet us at 10:30 with a press conference at 11:00 AM and then proceed into the Senate Gallery as witnesses.

Full details from Repairers of the Breach:

Join people of faith and Rev. William Barber II of Repairers of the Breach tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Capitol to send a powerful message to our U.S. Senators: Don’t take away our health care.

WHEN

JULY 27 - 10:30 a.m. ET

WHERE

If you cannot join us in person, please do utilize social media with #MoralResistance and #healthcare to amplify the witness.
