The UUMA still has scholarship funds available to help you attend the Institute for Excellence in Ministry. Please clickhereto apply for this scholarship opportunity. The deadline isNovember 1.
Registration Incentives
For the first time, the UUMA Institute is offering a workshop for ministers who identify as people of color. "Gathering Our Selves: Sustenance for People of Color in a Multicultural World" will be led by Dr. Mark Hicks and is the pilot for the launch of a theologically inclusive, multi-format, art-infused curriculum to sustain the spiritual resilience of people of color - people of African/Black, Latinex, Asian, Native American, Arab, or bi-racial ancestry - in mixed race-settings. We are offering new registrants a $100 discount if they register for this workshop. To take advantage of this offer, please contact Rev. Darrick Jackson atassociatedirector@uuma.org.
Laura Beth Brown and Emilie Boggis have made a generous offer for Institute attendees. The 30th person who registers for their workshop, "Embracing Family Ministry; Breaking down Silos" will receive two tickets to Orange Conference 2018 in Atlanta. This will be an opportunity to take your learning deeper. We are getting close to 30, so do not hesitate to register.

Invite your multi-faith colleagues to the Institute

As this Institute is a multi-faith event, we need your help by inviting your colleagues of other faiths to attend. Please sharethis brochurewith colleagues whom you think would benefit from this opportunity for learning, renewal, and collegiality. If you refer them, they will receive the early bird rate ($100 off) by using the code2018InstituteReferral.
We've noticed that a significant number of people who registered for the Institute have not registered for Housing. Pleaseregistersoon for housing so that we can be sure to have the right number and type of housing to meet the needs of our attendees.
