Dear UUMA Member,
Happy new year...before Christmas! The UUMA offices are closed next week but we wanted to send out one last e-update in 2011 in case some of you are opening email before December 31. We hope this has been a good year for you, your ministry and, most of all, your life. For some the year has been one with dreams fulfilled, for some the year has been one with broken hearts, for all there has been joy and there has been sadness. When the fireworks go off and the ball, or apple, or acorn, or peach (depending on where you live) falls at midnight and the new year begins may hope and possibility be reborn again. Thank you for all you do to make that hope come alive.

Beyond the Call: Preaching and Worship Arts, a two year program of study, practice and teaching, starts in the summer of 2012. Three of our finest preachers and liturgists - Mark Belletini, Kathleen Rolenz and Abhi Janamanchi - are the program's deans. You will meet with 20-30 colleagues four times a year; have many contacts between retreats and help lead small groups of colleagues who want to improve their preaching and worship leadership just like you.
