Welcome to this new incarnation of Lambda Ministers! Our lives as people whose sexual orientations and gender expressions are today broadening and deepening mean this new UUMA format is just the right time and place for broad participation in a meaningful expression of this collegial ministry. What should our mission be? What are our needs at this time in UU ministry and the world? Who are we in all our diversity? How can we best serve the ministry, Unitarian Universalism, our calling?

SMOLUUC was founded in the early 1980s to serve the needs of senior clergy in our largest Unitarian Universalist congregations, now defined as those congregations with 550 or more adult members. Here you will find information about the covenant and history of this group as well as a wealth of resources which can be helpful to congregations of all sizes.

Downtown. City Center. Urban Core. The big old church struggling to stay relevant in a changing neighborhood. Our urban churches have a unique and exciting role to play in the future of our faith. Different models of ministry. More community center than Sunday worship and coffee hour. More diverse. This group is for UUMA members involved in urban ministries as a means to share resources, support each other, and advocate for increased recognition and celebration of our urban churches.

The UU Clergy Recovery Affinity Group is an online space where clergy are welcome to share honestly and safely about their journeys, and about how both addiction and recovery shape their lives and their ministry. This group is only for people seriously wanting to be in a community of kindred people seeking support in remaining sober from addictions/compulsions. So, while this is an open group, please only join if this is something you truly need. Safety is a priority.
